Who Helios HS Industrial is for

For anyone who needs to print large parts, fast. Up to 600 × 600 × 800 mm in a single piece, at 500 mm/s: custom enclosures and covers, fairings, functional parts and test parts, in technical materials such as ABS, PA and fibre-filled composites. It is already used by industrial companies, universities and engineering SMEs.

Helios HS Industrial or Helios Industrial?

Two FDM 3D printers with the same base format, designed for different jobs: Helios HS Industrial to print large parts fast, Helios Industrial for super-polymers such as PEEK and ULTEM.

Helios HS Industrial: frequently asked questions

How large are the parts I can print?

The build volume is 600 × 600 × 800 mm. The machine takes up 1300 × 950 mm of floor space, is 1500 mm high and weighs 250 kg.

Which materials can I print?

PETG, ABS, PP, TPU, PA and glass- or carbon-fibre-filled materials, in 1.75 mm filament (nozzle up to 400 °C, bed up to 90 °C). For PEEK, ULTEM and other super-polymers there is Helios Industrial, with a 500 °C nozzle and a chamber heated to 120 °C.

Can I use several materials in the same part?

Yes: up to 4 hotends with automatic switching let you combine different materials or colours in the same print, for example a rigid and a flexible section, with no later assembly.

How fast and how accurate is it?

It prints at up to 500 mm/s. The machine's motion tolerance is 50 μm.

What happens if the power goes off?

The power-panic system automatically resumes printing after the outage.

How does it differ from the orthopedic Helios HS?

It is the same machine. The industrial version has a heated spool housing, in addition to the dryer, and reinforced spool holders, to work with PETG, ABS, PP, TPU, PA and glass- or carbon-fibre-filled materials.

Who already uses it?

Industrial companies, universities and engineering SMEs.

Can I see one of my parts printed before buying?

Yes: we run a test print with your file. The test print is charged. Contact us to arrange it.

Training, support and warranty?

Training takes one or two days and is included. When a Satres machine stops, we reply the same day. The warranty is one year, extendable.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the configuration: ask us for a quote.

Why companies choose Helios HS Industrial

Large parts in one go

600 × 600 × 800 mm build volume: fixtures and prototypes without splitting them into parts to glue together.

Fast

Up to 500 mm/s: you print in-house and no longer depend on an external supplier's lead times.

Technical materials

PETG, ABS, PP, TPU, PA and glass- or carbon-fibre-filled materials.

Several materials in one print

Up to 4 hotends with automatic switching: rigid and flexible sections, or different colours, with no assembly.

Warm spools on reinforced holders

Up to 4 spools in a heated housing with dryer and reinforced holders: the filament stays dry, which matters with PA and filled materials.

Restarts after a power cut

The power-panic system resumes printing where it stopped: long prints are not wasted.

Custom automation

Satres also builds CNC machining centres: we can develop part loading and handling for your line.

Industry 4.0 ready

Like every Satres machine, designed and built in Italy.

What you print with Helios HS Industrial

Large, functional parts in technical materials, for production, design and research. A few examples.

Custom enclosures and covers

Housings and covers made to fit the components, even as one-offs and without moulds: for example electrical cabinet enclosures in ABS.

Fairings and covers

Panels, guards and shells for machines and vehicles, in a single piece up to 800 mm high.

Functional parts

Brackets, supports and components to fit and really use, including in PA or fibre-filled materials.

Test parts

To check dimensions, fit and function before producing in metal or with a mould.

Fixtures and jigs
